🖼️Free Image Tools — Compress, Resize, Convert and Clean
Compress to an exact size, resize, crop, convert HEIC, change DPI, remove backgrounds and strip EXIF — privately in your browser.
Most image jobs are small chores with strict rules attached: a photo must fit under 200KB for a form, a scan needs to be exactly 300 DPI, an iPhone HEIC has to become a JPG, a screenshot needs a face blurred before it is shared. None of that should require an account, a watermark or a queue — and none of it requires a server either.
The tools below handle those chores directly in your browser using Canvas and WebAssembly. Two are worth pointing out because they are usually done badly elsewhere: compress to an exact KB actually searches for the best quality that fits your limit instead of guessing, and the EXIF remover strips the hidden data most people never think about — GPS coordinates, camera serial number, exact timestamp — before you post a photo anywhere.
Questions
- Does compressing here lose quality?
- Any size reduction costs some quality — the tool searches for the highest quality that still meets your target, and tells you when a file is already small enough to leave untouched.
- Why convert HEIC to JPG?
- HEIC is what iPhones produce. It is efficient but many websites, forms and Windows apps still refuse it, so a JPG copy is often the only thing that will upload.
- What is EXIF and why remove it?
- EXIF is metadata stored inside photos: GPS location, device model, serial number and exact date. Removing it before posting online prevents strangers from learning where a picture was taken.
