Many QR code sites quietly do something you did not ask for: instead of putting your link in the code, they put their link in it, which redirects to yours. That lets them count scans, show ads, and switch the code off when a trial ends. People have printed thousands of flyers with codes that later stopped working.
This generator encodes exactly what you type, directly. There is no redirect, no account and no expiry, because there is nothing on our side that could expire. The code works for as long as your own link does. Type a link or any text, choose the colour of the dots and the background, and download a PNG.
Two practical notes. Keep strong contrast between dots and background; a pale code on a pale background will not scan, and dark dots on light is the safe choice. And the longer the text, the denser the code, so use a short link if the code will be printed small. Always scan your code with a phone before sending it to print.

- Do these QR codes expire or track people?
- No. Many QR sites point the code at their own tracking URL that can expire. Ours encodes your link directly — it never expires and never tracks.
- Can I change the link later?
- No, and that is the trade-off of a code that cannot expire: the destination is fixed in the pattern. If you need to change where it points, use a link on your own domain that you can redirect.
- How small can I print it?
- About 2 cm across for a short link scanned from close up. Larger for longer text or for posters read from a distance.
