You have seen the effect on posters and thumbnails: a big word that sits behind the person, with their head and shoulders overlapping the letters. It gives a flat photo depth, and doing it by hand means cutting the subject out in an editor and stacking layers.
Here it is one step. An AI model finds the subject of your photo, your text is drawn on top of the background, and the subject is placed back over it. You type the words, set the size and colour, and download a PNG.
The model runs in your browser: it is downloaded once, then the photo is processed on your device and never uploaded. What makes the effect work is the photo itself. Choose one with a clear subject and some empty space behind them, keep the text short, one or two words, and make it large enough that the subject covers part of it; if nothing overlaps, it just looks like a caption. Fine hair and busy backgrounds can leave a rough edge, as with any automatic cut-out.
