AI runs on your device — photo never uploaded · first use downloads the model

Amazon's main-image rule is a pure white background, RGB 255, 255, 255, with the product filling most of the frame and nothing else in shot. Etsy, eBay, Shopify themes and Google Shopping are less strict but reward the same look: a clean cut-out reads as professional and makes a listing consistent when every product sits on the same background. Getting that from a kitchen-table photo used to mean a lightbox or an hour in an editor per item.

Here an AI model finds the product, separates it from the table, the wall and the shadows, and gives you the item on a transparent background, or on white if you choose that option. The transparent version is handy for banners and collages; white is what marketplaces want. The model is downloaded to your browser the first time you use the page, and after that each photo is processed on your own device, at full resolution, with no watermark and no cap on how many products you cut out.

The limits are those of every automatic cut-out. Solid objects photographed against a contrasting plain background come out clean. Glass, transparent packaging, fine mesh, loose threads and a product that is the same colour as the surface behind it are harder and may need a touch-up. Shoot on a contrasting background in even light and the model does the rest.

Frequently asked questions

Does Amazon require a white background?
Yes — the main product image must be on a pure white background. Remove the background here and choose white to comply.
Can I do lots of products for free?
Yes — it's unlimited and runs in your browser, unlike paid tools that charge per image.
Which products are hardest to cut out cleanly?
Transparent and reflective items such as glass bottles, clear packaging and jewellery, products with fine detail like fur or mesh, and anything close in colour to its background. Expect to check the edges on those.
How should I photograph a product for the best result?
Place it on a plain surface that contrasts with its colour, use soft even daylight, avoid harsh shadows and keep the whole product inside the frame. The clearer the outline, the cleaner the cut.
