Nigeria Passport Photo (35x45mm) — Free Maker

The Nigeria Immigration Service specifies a 35 by 45 millimetre photograph with a plain white background for passport applications, and the same size turns up on visa forms, bank KYC documents and school admissions. Studios charge for a sitting and hand over a few prints; this page makes the same photo from a picture you take at home, with the dimensions and background handled for you.

Start with a phone photo taken in front of a plain wall. The background is detected and swapped for clean white by an AI model, and the picture is scaled to 35 by 45 millimetres at print resolution. You get a digital version for online forms and a print sheet with several copies laid out on one standard photo print, so one cheap print at a photo kiosk covers every copy an office might ask for. The model is downloaded once to your browser; after that your photo is processed on your device and is never sent anywhere.

What the tool cannot do is the pose. Look straight into the camera with a neutral expression, no cap, no sunglasses, and even daylight on your face without a shadow behind your head. Head coverings are usually accepted only for religious reasons and must leave the whole face visible. Requirements are updated from time to time, so check the current NIS guidance before you submit.
